Porch is an open home improvement network that connects people with the right professionals for their improvement projects: from inspiration and education through to project completion …for free.
Social: We don’t make recommendations, friends and neighbors do. Free: We’re free for users – and always will be. Authentic: Regardless if a professional is a paying partner, we never alter our ‘find a pro’ search results. Simple: Browse, learn and connect with the right professional. Local: See who your neighbors have used and professionals that have worked on places and projects like yours. Data: We’re mapping the world’s home graph and using data to make connections around the home.
Every year, 120 million households spend $500 billion on home improvement and repair projects. Existing competitors are stuck in broken business models charging consumers for reviews by people they don’t know or recommending professionals to homeowners based on who pays them. The industry is antiquated with no social or data online leader until now.
We have several different revenue streams, all from channels that enhance the Porch experience. Primarily, we generate revenue through our business tools offering to professionals. We also generate revenue through partnerships.
When taking on a home improvement project, Porch knows you care about professionals your neighbors have used, who friends endorse, ideas to get started, and what the project will cost. Porch has exclusive insights on 1.5 million professionals and 90 million projects including photos, before & afters, costs, and the projects and professionals throughout your neighborhood.
By organizing this information, Porch is able to provide a home improvement network to empower users.
Porch respects privacy and never displays home address information without user consent.
